Done Shooting Feature
Well, we are done shooting our feature, Deck Hunters. We shot up in beautiful Steamboat Springs Colorado. We had some long days. A few days of shooting until 3 in the morning and then being up again at 7 or 730 and getting back to it, but we had a blast the entire time!
We got some great shots and now it is a matter of getting it all edited. Hopefully we will have a final cut by Christmas. Then it is onto distribution! I will keep everyone updated as things progress. While our editor Roman, is doing his thing, I will be working on writing a couple of scripts to shoot next year.
I want to thank everyone on the shoot for their hard work and good attitudes. It took a great effort from everyone involved to get it done! What makes it even better is that all of the cast and crew are from Colorado!!

What kind of genre is this movie? Horror, mystery, etc.?

It is a dramedy about 5 guys who grew up together and go off and do their own thing after high school. Years later they come together for a hunting trip and it comes out that one of the guys is dieing of a terminal illness, that is why he brought the guys together, to try and help them realize that they are wasting their lives.
